This is not simply a marketing claim. As we know, the genuine Rolex 3235 offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve, while the VS-developed 3235 can also reach around 72 hours. The movement plates, bridges, and automatic rotor have all received detailed finishing. The rotor features a sunburst finish, the bridges use circular brushing, and the movement is decorated with gold-colored lettering. Even though the movement is hidden behind the solid caseback, VS has still paid considerable attention to these details.

The genuine model uses an 18k white-gold fluted bezel together with Rolex Oystersteel. Oystersteel is essentially Rolex's proprietary name for its 904L stainless steel.

The Rolex watch, on the other hand, is made from 904L stainless steel. To enhance the brightness of the fluted bezel, VS applies a white-gold-colored plating process, giving the bezel a very bright and reflective appearance.

The sides of the case are polished, while the curvature of the four corners and the edges around the sapphire crystal have all been carefully finished.

The dial comes in a cool gray tone, which looks very attractive and remains visually appealing even after long-term wear.

At the six o'clock position, the laser-etched crown logo can be seen on the sapphire crystal. This detail is relatively difficult to notice. It is easier to see when viewing the crystal from an angle under dimmer lighting.

The gray dial features a sunburst finish that produces a subtle metallic sheen from different viewing angles.

The hour markers and hands have also received detailed finishing. The markers are polished and beveled, with luminous material filled inside. The Rolex crown logo is highly polished and looks very smooth.

The hands use a solid center pinion and are carefully polished, while the seconds hand features a fine brushed finish.

The date window also looks very neat and well executed to the naked eye.

This model is available with either a five-link Jubilee bracelet or a three-link Oyster bracelet. Both are well finished, so the final choice simply depends on personal preference.
