Is Keeping Foreign Currency in a Bank Account a Good Idea?

I’ve been thinking about opening a foreign currency account because I sometimes receive money from abroad and don’t always want to convert it into Pakistani rupees immediately. Keeping foreign currency seems convenient, especially if you regularly deal with international payments, travel expenses, or overseas income. I’m just wondering how practical it is for everyday banking and whether there are any charges or restrictions that people should know about. If anyone here already keeps foreign currency in a bank account, I’d be interested to hear how useful you find it and whether you would recommend it.
