U4N Drift Guide: Master The FH6 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition

The new Drift Attack campaign is set to become one of the more interesting activities for FH6 Credits players when Series 5 arrives on September 7, 2026. Rather than adding another standard race, the update introduces a permanent drift circuit where players can compete for scores and work toward a unique vehicle reward.

If you are already saving FH6 Credits or working through other progression goals, the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition is worth keeping in mind. It is connected directly to the new Drift Attack milestones, so unlocking it means spending some time learning the new track and improving your drift performance.

Start With The Yellow Wristband

Before heading to the new circuit, you need to obtain the Horizon Festival yellow wristband. This is the first access requirement for Drift Attack.

After unlocking access, look for the Shimanama/Shimanoyama Circuit. The track is part of the shared open world and is designed to remain available rather than functioning as a one-time seasonal event.

One of the most convenient features is the way you enter the activity. You do not have to select a matchmaking lobby or sit through a loading sequence. Driving through the circuit's gantry starts the scoring process immediately.

That makes it easy to practice. If a run goes badly, you can focus on another attempt without a lengthy setup process.

Understanding The Drift Attack Format

Drift Attack combines ideas from Drift Zones and Time Attack competition. The goal is still to generate a strong drift score, but the track provides more opportunities to improve your run and compete against other players.

Blue clipping zones are an important part of the scoring system. Passing through these marked sections while maintaining a drift can multiply your active score.

This means that simply holding a large drift angle is not enough. You also need to think about positioning. A good run should balance speed, control, angle, and the ability to reach the clipping areas without losing the drift.

Newer players may initially find it easier to concentrate on keeping the car stable. Once that becomes comfortable, start adjusting your line to target the blue zones more consistently.

Use The Leaderboards To Track Progress

Drift Attack also gives players more detailed performance information than a basic score screen.

Global rankings show how your result compares with the wider player base. Convoy rankings provide a more personal comparison, while drivetrain-specific rankings let you see how your setup performs against players using similar configurations.

This variety is useful because not everyone approaches drifting in the same way. Some drivers may prefer a particular drivetrain because it gives them more predictable control, while others may enjoy experimenting with different setups.

You can therefore treat the leaderboard as a progression tool instead of something you must immediately dominate.

The New Jaguar Is Built For Style

The reward at the end of the Drift Attack campaign is the 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition. Its design takes the classic Jaguar in a very different direction.

The Forza Edition features a lime green livery, staggered wire wheels, distinctive window decals, and a huge rear wing. The result looks much closer to a grassroots drift build than a conventional luxury performance car.

Inside, the car has been stripped down as well. Side windows have been removed, door pull clips replace conventional fittings, and prominent rear air vents help with cooling while the car is being driven hard.

The visual changes make the vehicle easy to identify, even before you start driving it.

There Is Also A Standard XJ-S

Not every player will want to use the special Forza Edition. The good news is that the standard 1990 Jaguar XJ-S will also be available through the Autoshow.

That version gives players a clean starting point for their own builds. You can experiment with tuning and styling without being tied to the campaign version.

The two options also serve different purposes. The Forza Edition is a collectible reward connected to Drift Attack, while the standard car is better suited to players who want to create their own interpretation of the Jaguar.

Making The Most Of Series 5

The Jaguar reward gives players a reason to spend time with Drift Attack, but the activity itself may be the bigger addition. Its permanent circuit, instant entry, clipping zones, and detailed rankings create a more repeatable form of drifting than a traditional one-off challenge.

Once Series 5 launches, take some time to learn the track before worrying about your final score. Understanding the corners and clipping zones should make future attempts much more consistent. Players who want outside assistance with progression can also buy FH6 Boosting when they prefer a more convenient route toward their goals.
