The region is closely tied to “Echoes of Victory Ridge” and “Straight Record,” giving players multiple reasons to become familiar with its landmarks and surrounding paths.

Begin at West Broken Bridge

For “Echoes of Victory Ridge,” your main task is to recover Major Aiva’s Patch, which is associated with the battle plans objective. The relevant location is near the northern edge of the map, close to the West Broken Bridge point of interest.

Instead of searching the main road, look for signs of a collapsed concrete highway. One section has fallen at an angle, creating a small sheltered space underneath. This unusual structure is the key landmark for the first part of the quest.

Approaching from the West Broken Bridge side makes the location easier to identify because the surrounding wreckage provides a useful reference point.

Check the Tarp and Wrecked Cars

A blue tarp is positioned around the makeshift shelter, while several damaged cars can be found nearby. These details are helpful because the quest container itself may not stand out from a distance.

Move underneath the tilted highway section and enter the small alcove. A rusted metal crate or box should be waiting inside. Interact with the container to trigger the objective and cause Major Aiva’s Patch and the battle plans to appear.

Make sure you inspect the ground after interacting with the container. Finding the crate does not mean the quest item has automatically been secured.

Protect the Patch Before Leaving

The next priority is getting Major Aiva’s Patch out of the area. If you are carrying an important quest item, unnecessary exploration can create additional risks, especially when other threats are nearby.

A Safe Pocket augment can be useful for protecting the patch during the run. Once the item is secured, head toward the nearest lift extraction point rather than spending too much time searching the surrounding area.

Taking a direct route also keeps the objective straightforward. If the primary purpose of the expedition is quest completion, additional encounters are often less important than reaching extraction with the required item.

Collect the Available Rewards

After extracting successfully with Major Aiva’s Patch, the quest can be completed by turning it in to Celeste. The rewards include six crude explosives, two processors, and a music box.

The reward structure gives players another reason to complete the objective while already traveling through the northern portion of Dam Battlegrounds. Combining quest progress with an existing expedition can also reduce the amount of repeated travel required later.

Continue Toward the Ridge Center

“Straight Record” takes you to another part of Victory Ridge. From the West Broken Bridge area, move southwest toward the center of the ridge.

Your first target is an EMP Trap. A tall pole with a wire looping around it serves as the main landmark. The trap is positioned around the central section of Victory Ridge, so careful observation of the surrounding structures can help you locate it.

When you reach the pole, interact with its base. Doing so activates the next stage of the quest and directs you toward the nearby power equipment.

Search for the Power Switches

Once the EMP Trap has been activated, you need to locate and flip the surrounding power switches. Unlike the initial trap, these objectives require more movement around the nearby area.

Work outward from the EMP Trap and check surrounding structures, equipment, and accessible sections of the ridge. Keeping track of places you have already searched can prevent you from repeatedly covering the same ground.

Moving methodically is particularly useful here. Victory Ridge contains plenty of environmental clutter, so rushing can make small interactive objects easier to overlook.

Combine the Quests During One Expedition

If both objectives are active, you can organize your route around the geography of Victory Ridge. Start near West Broken Bridge, search beneath the collapsed highway, secure Major Aiva’s Patch, and then decide whether to extract immediately or continue toward the central ridge.

If you choose to continue, travel southwest to the EMP Trap and progress through the power-switch objective. This approach can reduce repeated journeys between the northern and central sections of the region.

Keeping the two objectives connected to their physical locations makes navigation much easier than treating each quest as an unrelated task.

Leave the Region Efficiently

Victory Ridge is easier to handle when you recognize its major landmarks: West Broken Bridge, the collapsed highway, the blue tarp, the rusted crate, the EMP Trap, and the nearby power switches. Memorizing these reference points can make future runs considerably more efficient.

Prioritize quest progress, protect important items when possible, and avoid unnecessary combat once your objectives are complete. A focused route through Victory Ridge can save both time and resources while allowing you to return to the wider Dam Battlegrounds with a successful expedition.
