The Best Route

Bellhart → Shellwood → Blasted Steps → Grand Gate → Choral Chambers.

From Tipp and Pill, head right to the elevator leading to Bellhart's second floor, then take the first exit into Shellwood. Watch out for the Gahlia flower enemy overhead — jump to the left branch, hack through the vines, and climb until a leftward road opens up.

Keep running left through area after area until Blasted Steps appears. This stretch is the real meat grinder — enemies and parkour everywhere. Climb the first hole, follow the path to the first bench, then go left, jump to the first platform, and immediately hop up to the rock above. Use the shortcut platform on the right to skip a chunk of the parkour.

From there, it's a cage-hopping bonanza. Leap to the hanging cage in the middle, bounce across the ones above, and when a hanging bell shows up on the right, smack it to reach the nearby wall. Two enemies guard the bell further along — either jump-attack the shielded Judge enemy or leap over them and use the rock on the left as a safe launch pad.

Once past that, it's smooth sailing to Grand Gate. Parkour upward into the shortcut that dumps Hornet straight into the Choral Chambers — no Underworks detour required.

In the Choral Chambers, aim for the Ventrica chamber above. Take the left route, not the right — the right side is a nightmare of enemies and puzzles, while the left hides a shortcut with barely anyone in the way. Climb to the exit chamber leading to the Slab, then cruise right to Loyal Mergwin and hand over the goods. Phew. 😮‍💨

2. Crustnut

The Crustnut lives in the Sands of Karak, just above Blasted Steps. It sits on the western side, guarded by destructible traps stacked on top of indestructible ones, plus plenty of tight corridors stuffed with spikes. It's less of a puzzle and more of a chore, but slow and steady wins the race.

3. Pickled Muckmaggot

Head to Sinner's Road, right above Greymoor. The route is refreshingly straightforward — just keep moving forward and climb a couple of platforms. The catch? Reaching the Pickled Muckmaggot triggers a boss fight against the Disgraced Chef Lugoli. Take him down and the item is Hornet's.

4. Vintage Nectar

Visit Creige at Halfway Home, the inn smack in the middle of Greymoor. He wants 480 Rosaries for the Vintage Nectar. Pay up, and Hornet heads downstairs to collect — only to get ambushed by a swarm of ants. Clear them out and the nectar is hers.

5. Mossberry Stew

Finally, something easy. Visit the Moss Druid in Mosshome, the starter area west of the Marrow. There's no prerequisite, no fee, no boss — just interact with them and the Mossberry Stew is handed over. Nice.

Once all five items are in Hornet's grasp, return to Loyal Mergwin and hand them over. The reward — one Pale Oil — makes the whole ordeal worthwhile.
